Description:

Aldar Education is currently seeking Teacher of Drama for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum, mixed gender school until Year 9 and a girl’s only school from Year 10 onwards. It is located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years Teaching experience in English National Curriculum

Responsibilities:

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the school’s ECA Programme by leading at least one after-school activity once a week for the academic year.
  • Attend and support parent/student events.
  • Undertake duties as part of the staff duty rotas in accordance with school policies.
  • Work with the CARTS department to produce our annual show and other events, including some weekend rehearsals and performances.
  • Attend all requisite meetings and contribute where applicable to Study Support Plans, SEN meetings and provide any information that may be required for individual pupils.
