JOB TITLE: KEY STAGE 4 TEACHER – ALTERNATIVE PROVISION / SPECIAL SCHOOL

Location: Bradford
Contract: Full Time, Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people who need it most? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Key Stage 4 Teacher to join our alternative provision school, working with pupils who present with SEMH difficulties, ADHD, and those who have experienced permanent exclusion from mainstream school.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in teaching or tutoring young people (QTS not essential).
  • Confident in teaching a range of subjects at Key Stage 4 level.
  • Skilled at managing challenging behaviour with empathy and consistency.
  • Flexible, creative, and passionate about giving every pupil the chance to succeed.
  • Resilient, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

As a Key Stage 4 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the full curriculum to small groups of pupils.
  • Differentiate learning to meet a range of needs and abilities.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with students, supporting both their academic progress and personal development.
  • Work closely with the wider staff team to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
  • Contribute to behaviour management strategies and encourage positive engagement in learning.
