Position: Teacher - English as Second Language

Job Description: The ESL Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive program for children with limited English proficiency in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations.
Qualifications: Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for English as a Second Language. Master’s Degree in ESL preferred. Experience in working with students with limited English proficiency (LEP) preferred.
Salary Range: ProfessionalSalaryScheduleAnnual2024.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
Length of Employment: 200 Days
