ABOUT YOU

We are looking for passionate and engaged individuals who meet the following essential requirements:

  • Hold a qualification at a minimum level of Certificate III or above in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability) or equivalent
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details.
  • Minimum three years post-qualification industry experience in Disability and/or Aged Care, gained no longer than five years ago
  • Commitment to maintaining and developing Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Ageing and/or Disability Support and join our vibrant teaching team in this permanent part-time opportunity. TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate for this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes. This position will be based at Cessnock Campus and travel will be required between Maitland, Muswellbrook and Singleton.
