WHO WE ARE?

Based in the Tees Valley, Bede Sixth Form College continues to go from strength to strength, our A Level pass rate is 99%. In our last Ofsted inspection, May 2022, we received Outstanding grades in Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal development, Leadership and Management and Education Programmes for Young People. We are an innovative and destination driven Sixth Form offering a wide range of both A level and vocational provision to the community.
Our teaching and learning strategy is research-informed and focused on the principles of cognitive science. We have invested significantly in professional development to ensure all our teachers are evidence-informed practitioners, continuously developing their own pedagogy to ensure the very best outcomes for our learners. Our teachers work alongside a team of Personal Progression Coordinators (PPCs) to ensure that our learners are supported holistically throughout their time at Bede.

JOB ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Applied Science and Chemistry to join our growing Science department. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver our popular Applied Science course (Chemistry specialism is preferred) with some A-Level Chemistry.

Safeguarding is also priority for the group and we have key policies and systems which help to make the group a safe place for learners and staff.
