FULL-TIME FROM SEPTEMBER 2025

Shrewsbury seeks to appoint a full-time teacher of Business to teach at all levels in the School in a successful, supportive and collaborative Faculty. The post would be ideal for someone new to the profession looking to gain initial experience, key skills and knowledge in one of the country’s leading boarding schools or for an experienced qualified teacher. The ability to teach A Level Economics may be an advantage and the successful candidate should be willing to participate in the School’s thriving pastoral and co-curricular programmes.
Shrewsbury was one of the pioneers of A Level Business (formerly Business Studies) in the 1970s. In the years since then the School has built up a strong reputation for success. Business is currently only taught at A Level and is one of our most popular subjects, with typically over sixty students in each year group choosing A Level Business. The subject has excellent Public Examination results and Business is the most popular degree choice amongst school leavers, with a large number going on to study in both the UK and abroad.
Shrewsbury has its own salary scale and may be able to provide accommodation.
