The Governing Body wishes to appoint a part time 0.8, temporary specialist Teacher of Design Technology to join our committed, hard-working and successful Technology AOLE from September 2025 for one year. A full time position may be considered for the right applicant. We are seeking a fully qualified, innovative and creative teacher, with expertise in teaching Design Technology, at KS3 and GCSE. The successful candidate will be dedicated to the development and promotion of the subject areas across the whole school community.
We are delighted to share the positive statements from our recent Estyn inspection and strengthen our DT team. Estyn stated that “The school has refined and strengthened its wellbeing provision and this has had a positive impact on behaviour, attitudes to learning and attendance. This in turn has reinforced the schools high expectations of behaviour and attendance.” We wish to build on this report and are seeking a competent teacher with high expectations that will support us in continuing our improvement journey. Milford Haven is situated on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast in an area where housing is inexpensive and the quality of life is second to none. We are an 11-16 school with over 1100 pupils on roll and is continuing to increase in future years.
