Description

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic German teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to inspire and guide students on their linguistic journey?
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled German teacher to join our languages team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education and committed to helping students develop their German language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
Educated to degree level, the successful candidate will teach German to our international students and students studying A level.
Whilst previous post-16 experience is an advantage, it is not essential. Many of our staff have joined us from a pre-16 environment. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who has been working in schools to move into post-16 education.
The post attracts a competitive salary (pay award pending) and generous holidays along with access to the Teachers Pension Scheme.
This role can be full or part time (0.52 – 0.56). If full time, the successful candidate will need to be able to offer a second subject(any subject considered) or be willing to contribute to ESOL teaching.
The successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College.
Candidates are required to complete an application form and provide a covering letter. Please be aware that an online search is completed as part of the application process in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education requirements.
Shortlisting and interviews will take place after the Easter break.
