Amity International School, Abu Dhabi is seeking a well-qualified, passionate, and experienced Inclusion Teacher to support our diverse learning community and ensure inclusive education for all students.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Education/Special Education OR
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with SEND specialization OR
• Master’s degree in Special Education/Inclusive Education
• Additional qualifications in specific areas of SEND (preferred):
• Dyslexia specialist qualification
• Autism spectrum disorders certification
• Speech and language therapy background
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with SEND students in an educational setting
• Experience in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Knowledge of various assessment tools and monitoring systems for SEND
• Understanding of differentiated teaching strategies and inclusive practices
• Experience with assistive technology and learning support tools
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and external specialists
• Knowledge of current SEND Code of Practice and international best practices
• Experience in multi-disciplinary team working
