Full Time Teacher of Performing Arts to start September 2025 with a possibility of Subject Lead

We are looking for a talented Performing Arts Teacher who can bring their expertise to our vibrant educational community. As a crucial member of the Performing Arts team, you will be able to shape the next generation of performers on their educational journey.
The successful candidate will predominately teach acting across our vocational performing arts programmes at level 2 and level 3. An ability to contribute to other areas of performing arts such as singing, music or dance would be an advantage. In addition, an ability to contribute to Drama A level if required would be an advantage but not essential. You would be expected to develop students performance skills through productions and contribute and lead on activities such as the College play and College musical as required. You will also be required to contribute to the college wide enrichment activities.
Previous post 16 experience is not essential. This is an ideal opportunity for a performing arts/drama teacher who has previously taught in schools to work in post 16. You will be working within an experienced, supportive team.

This role is suitable for experienced teachers as well as ECTs. The College offers the ECT programme, and a successful candidate could complete their first term of ECT through the College.
The successful candidates will be required to possess an enhanced DBS certificate to be employed at the College. Candidates are required to complete an application form and provide a covering letter. A Subject Lead role could be considered for a suitably experienced candidate. Candidates for Subject lead should have at least 4 years teaching experience and ideally previous management experience within education. They will be an outstanding teacher who is able to demonstrate their experience in managing staff and leading curriculum change. They will have a passion making performing arts accessible for all and in doing so, increase student numbers.
