MINIMUM 1+ YEARS DEAF & HARD OF HEARING SPECIALIST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

A full-time Teacher specializing in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) is sought for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 setting located in Gillette, Wyomingapproximately two hours north of Casper, WY. This district-wide contract position involves serving students across multiple sites throughout the week, providing comprehensive support and specialized instruction to children who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and support to K-12 students with hearing impairments.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Travel regularly between district sites to serve all assigned students.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Advocate for the needs of deaf/hard of hearing students within the school community.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and educational technology in DHH instruction.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education or related special education fields.
