Job Description: Teacher Recruitment Specialist Location: Stratford and Woolwich, London Role Type: Full-time, Permanent Role Overview The Teacher Recruitment Specialist at SCCD Training will focus on sourcing, engaging, and placing high-quality teaching candidates into schools across the network. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, building strategic relationships with schools and candidates to ensure the best fit and successful placements. Key Responsibilities Sourcing and attracting qualified teaching candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking. Managing the full recruitment lifecycle including screening, interviewing, and referencing. Building and maintaining relationships with schools to understand their staffing needs and recruitment goals. Coordinating placements and offering ongoing support to both schools and teachers during the induction process. Collaborating with internal teams to align recruitment strategies with SCCD Training’s objectives. Maintaining accurate records and recruitment metrics to track progress and effectiveness. Candidate Requirements Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the education sector. Strong knowledge of the UK education system and teacher recruitment needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and school representatives effectively. Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously with attention to detail. Proactive and results-driven approach with the ability to meet recruitment targets.
