The Teacher Aide provides appropriate care and treatment in a therapeutic environment that promotes the physical, emotional and behavioral health of each student and assists them in developing adaptive life skills. Teacher Aides work as a part of a collaborative therapeutic team. They are expected to establish therapeutic rapport with our students as well as open communications and support among co-workers. The Teacher Aide is directly accountable to the Assigned Classroom Teacher who provides supervision and training and is a non-exempt, hourly employee
