Job Details Job Location: Episcopal High School - Alexandria, VA Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Episcopal High School is a 100% boarding school, coeducational, grades 9-12, located in Alexandria, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. Founded in 1839, EHS boasts a deep foundation of character education and honor, academic excellence, and a uniquely spirited, diverse, and lively student culture. We seek a full-time Spanish teacher beginning in the fall of 2026. Candidates must be prepared to teach students at every level of Spanish in this four-year boarding school. Specific assignment will comprise four to five sections of Spanish, plus residential, extra-curricular, and advising duties. We seek dynamic candidates who will participate eagerly in the broad life of the School, and who will actively advance the School's mission, our students’ sense of belonging, its afternoon option curriculum, and its residential life program. Special consideration will be given to those candidates who can contribute at a high level on our tennis, squash, rowing, basketball, girls’ soccer, and/or baseball coaching staff. References should speak to the candidate’s capacity and willingness to work effectively in a boarding school environment, keeping strong relationships with students at the forefront. The salary offered will be competitive and commensurate with experience, and the housing benefit (either on-campus or via a stipend to offset costs) will be included.
