Job Role: SEN Teacher Contract: Term-time/39 weeks/Permanent/ 37.5 hours per week Location: Nanpantan with occasional cover at Hinckley Salary: Starting from £32,646.56 per annum Your Purpose R.E.A.L. The role will involve the planning and delivery of quality programmes of study to learners who are hard to engage or have additional needs. Teaching is delivered in 1:1 settings and small nurture groups. Your role will mainly be based out of our Nanpantan and Hinckley sites so access to a suitable vehicle to transport children is essential. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate high expectations for all young people and have a proven history in achieving outcomes for learners. Our ideal candidate will be someone who understands the barriers of mainstream education to many children and young people. Skills and Qualifications We Need The successful candidate should have proven experience of working with children and young people or vulnerable adults within an educational setting. You should also be able to evidence supporting young people or vulnerable adults with their learning through innovative approaches to lesson delivery. 25-04-SEN-Teacher-JD_PS There is a need to be able to travel between sites within the specified locality to support and engage with young people as required. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for transporting them to various locations.
