About the role:
As a Teacher, your primary purpose is to educate students to their needs and abilities, maximising their attainment potential for success beyond formal schooling.
This position is based in the Riverview Campus.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering educational programs to all students in the class to facilitate learning
  • Teaching according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual students and groups of students (using data collected and/or observed)
  • Reflecting on best practice, both in delivery and assessment/feedback, to ensure continued improvement of the educational programs offered and student outcomes
  • Incorporating our Model of Care Framework and trauma-informed practices when working with young people
  • Using the relevant syllabus and assessment documentation to plan and deliver educational programs to diverse learners
  • Prepare adjustments for students and help with Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on students with disability.

What You Will Bring:

  • Current full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
  • TAE 40116 Certificate IV in Assessment and Training to deliver Nationally Accredited Vocational Certificates (desirable)
  • You will bring valuable experience of working within Special Assistance School, where you support students meet their educational outcomes, helping them to flourish and walk alongside them on their journey to Independence
