As a Teachers Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging and inclusive learning programs. You will help foster a safe, caring, and supportive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with a diverse range of needs in the mainstream classroom
• Promoting student wellbeing and social engagement
• Collaborating with staff
• Participate in school events, excursion and professional development

The successful candidate will have:

• Support of the mission, teachings, and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff members in supporting the implementation of individual, small group and whole class learning programs, including the use of technological devices and support aides to support learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support the learning and support needs of their students.
• Capacity to work effectively as a member of a team and community.
• Knowledge and understanding of the legislation surrounding all children with additional needs.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate IV in Education Support (Please provide transcipts)
• Appropriate demonstrated experience
• Experience in providing administration support.
