Parramatta Marist is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher’s Aide to commence in 2026 on a part-time basis. We invite applications from experienced teaching aides, or those willing to learn, with the passion and drive to continue to develop a strong and committed Diversity (Learning Support) team:

The successful applicant will have demonstrated:

  • Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic Education
  • Experience or an interest in learning support
  • Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork to work in a team with other Diverse Learning teachers and Teachers Aides
  • Exemplary values and attitudes appropriate to professional practice and the intellectual, physical and social development of all students and those identified with disabilities and learning needs
  • Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities.

Specific Criteria:

  • Ability to work with children with diverse learning needs as well as other students within the classroom.
  • Display a patient, compassionate and caring nature.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team - such as teachers, parents, external providers.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to assist the teacher and their students throughout the learning sessions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and child safety
  • A current Working with Children Check
