Sherwood Montessori is now hiring for Toddler, Pre Primary teachers (2 and 3 year old classes) in Colleyville! Must have with childcare and Montessori experience. We are a licensed educational childcare facility offering quality childcare and a curriculum enriched program. We are seeking qualified Two’s and Three’s Teachers with Montessori trained or certified! For this role, you must have: -A high school diploma/GED -CPR certification or willing to become CPR certified (paid by us) -Authorization to work in the U.S -Willing to obtain training (paid by us) We offer competitive compensation and benefits. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $12.00 - $14.00 per hour/depending on experience Expected hours: 35/40 per week Role Responsibilities: Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning Implement Montessori Curriculum®, working with Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions. Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement. Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly. Qualifications: At least 2 years of professional teaching experience preferred High School Diploma/GED required. College ECE coursework highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices CPR and First Aid Certification preferred. Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
