WHAT’S THE ROLE?

As a Teaching and Learning Mentor, you’ll work with a fantastic team in our Post-19 service, supporting young adults with autism in Wandsworth and out in the community. You’ll use Behaviour Analysis techniques (don’t worry, we’ll train you up!) to help them develop communication skills and prepare for adulthood.
Post-19 is an educational service designed for autistic adults aged 19-25, focusing on helping them develop functional communication, language skills, and preparing them for the next stage of life.
With a personalised curriculum tailored to each student, we provide a study program that equips them with the essential skills needed for independent or supported living, vocational training, employment, health and wellbeing, and active participation in their communities. Our goal is to support their journey into adulthood with confidence and capability.
