Description

The Palladian Academy Trust is a community of schools, each with its own ethos, that enjoy a mutually enriching partnership. Our Trust includes both church and community academies working closely together, all connected by a shared vision for our pupils: ‘excellent and equitable opportunities so everyone can flourish.’
Westwood with Iford Primary School is a small school with only two classes but with a big heart. We are proud to be part of Palladian Academy Trust where we offer excellent and equitable opportunities so everyone can flourish.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated part-time 1 to 1 teaching assistant to join our wonderful school family at Westwood with Iford Primary School.
We are proud to be a diverse workforce where everyone plays a vital role. Working primarily under direction of the Class Teacher and the SENDCo you will support a student with planned learning activities and programmes on a 1:1 basis.
This is a rewarding role where you will be supporting a young person on their educational journey, inspiring them to break barriers and communicating with parents to establish positive home/school relationships.

We are looking for exceptional individuals that can demonstrate:

  • A dedication to making a difference to young people’s lives and educational journey.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in diverse classroom environments.
  • A commitment to continual learning and growth.
  • The vision and values of Westwood with Iford School and the Palladian Academy Trust.
  • Experience in an educational or similar setting is an advantage but not essential. Palladian Academy Trust are keen to hear from candidates keen for a rewarding and purposeful career change who feel strongly about achieving equitable outcomes for all.

This is a temporary contract linked to a named child, working 17.5 hours per week, 8.40am to 12.10pm with Monday to Friday (paid for 3.5 hours per day). The post is term time only plus one Trust Development Day.
If you are passionate about education and our core purpose of working to support pupils to be their best selves, then Palladian Academy Trust are keen to hear from you.
