This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced Teaching Assistant to join a team of staff committed to supporting all children with high quality teaching and learning! The role includes an element of class cover, classroom support and small intervention groups. It also includes working as a play leader to assist with lunch time/playtime. This is a permanent role with 19.75 hours TA3 and 5hrs MDSA totalling 24.75 hours per week, term time only. The TA role is graded at Single Status Grade 4 and MDSA hours at Single Status Grade 1. Normal working hours will be:- Monday,Tuesday & Friday 8.35am until 3.15pm, Wednesday & Thursday 8.35am – 1pm (MDSA hours are within these times) The successful candidate will:- • have high expectations of children’s achievement; • be innovative; creating exciting and engaging learning opportunities; • have excellent behaviour management skills; • contribute towards raising levels of achievement to ‘Outstanding’ • support our creative curriculum • work in partnership with the staff and with our wider community.
