This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant: Computer Support Specialist in EMEA. As a Teaching Assistant: Computer Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting learners through virtual training programs focused on computer and technology skills. You will guide and assist a group of 25–30 learners, helping them understand, retain, and apply course content effectively. This role requires both synchronous and asynchronous engagement, including answering questions, facilitating breakout sessions, and providing one-on-one support. You will help maintain a smooth learning experience, troubleshoot technical issues, and support instructors during live sessions. By contributing to learner success and program quality, your work will have a direct impact on building technical proficiency and confidence in participants across diverse backgrounds. Accountabilities: Support learners during live virtual sessions, including facilitating breakout rooms and monitoring communication channels. Provide timely responses to learner questions via Slack or other communication tools, both during and outside live sessions. Conduct individual office hours to provide personalized guidance and assistance. Review course materials and learner submissions to ensure readiness and accuracy of support. Grade exercises and projects in a timely manner and provide constructive feedback. Contribute to continuous improvement by submitting weekly summaries and insights on learner progress and program effectiveness. Collaborate with instructors and program staff to address challenges and enhance the learning experience. Empathy, flexibility, patience, and passion for working with diverse learners. Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a plus. CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge in computer support and IT fundamentals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for virtual collaboration. Ability to manage multiple tasks and support learners in a structured, professional manner.
