Hazel Tree Education are working with an outstanding Specialist College in Leigh.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support learners with complex needs. Candidates Must be comfortable with assisting learners with an element of Personal care.
The position is due to start in September, Monday- Friday 8:25-3:05.
The school prepares young people for the future and helps them to develop the skills and qualities they will need to make a positive contribution to the community. With high expectations in terms of academic, social, and personal achievements. The school is a safe, caring environment where every individual is nurtured.

What we’re looking for:

  • A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g school, residential, sports coaching.
  • An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
  • A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.

Successful candidates must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one
  • At least two references including most recent/current employer.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
