Horizon Teachers are currently working with a Primary School in Barnet that are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in their Reception class, starting in September until July 2026, on a full-time basis.
The student you will be working with has Autism and needs close support to help them within class to stay engaged, and to be involved in education activities to help develop their social and physical development. This school works hard with each student and their families to help them grow into confident, independent young people.
You will be required to work with them both in and out of the classroom to support their individual needs.
As a Teaching Assistant you will need to be resilient and be able to quickly create a rapport with the students to best support them. This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £575 per week.
