Darton Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our academy in July 2025, on a permanent, part time basis.

As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Salary: Grade C Points 4 - 6 (£24,404 - £25,183 Full Time Equivalent). The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £17,094.59.
Hours: 30 hours per week / term time only plus 5 days (39 weeks).
