New Directions Education is working with fantastic SEND School in Salford that is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Level 1 for September (or sooner for the right person). The ideal Teaching Assistant will have experience of supporting learners with additional needs such as: autism (ASC), severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). Experience and knowledge of de-escalating challenging behaviour is essential for this role.

• Provide learning support for a students on a 1:1 and small groups
• Assist with the implementation of educational healthcare plans (EHCPs)
