JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support educators in providing an inclusive and enriching learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with autism and other disabilities. This role involves assisting in the delivery of educational programmes, fostering positive relationships with students, and promoting their social and academic development.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs or disabilities, is highly desirable.
  • A background in teaching or early childhood education is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the diverse needs of all learners is crucial for success in this role.
    Contract Hours: 30 (27.5 L2 TA, 2.5 Midday), term-time plus INSETS (39 weeks)
    Salary: £16,405.95 to £16,663.25 (£23,656 to £24,027 Full Time Equivalent)

Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
