ABOUT US

The Bavarian International School gAG (BIS) is a private, non-profit all-day school with two campuses in the north of Munich (Haimhausen) and in Schwabing. 1,250 students from 70 nations attend the IB World School. Responsibilities
  • Maintain positive relationship with students/colleagues/parents
  • Assist individuals or small groups of students with specific tasks, e.g. reading, writing, art projects
  • Maintain expectations of student behaviour in and out of the classroom to create a well-functioning, positive learning atmosphere in the school
  • Assist with supervision of students while in and out of class
  • Assist the teacher with the creation and preparation of materials and in creating an attractive and effective learning environment
  • Complete school related errands and administrative duties
  • Organise and care for classroom materials
  • Assist with organisation of class field trips
  • Carry out supervision duties at lunch and recess as assigned on duty roster
  • Escort students to single subject lessons and to the school buses
  • Contribute to the wider school community through active involvement in after-school activities, fieldtrips, overnight trips, etc.
  • Maintain professional competence by pursuing professional development opportunities, by taking part in in-services and by engaging in the BIS performance review process
  • Model the values and professional demeanour as expressed in the BIS
