Post: Teaching Assistant - Maths
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Range: Grade 4 SCP10 – SCP12 (£26,835 - £27,711 FTE) pro rata salary £22,427.17 - £23,159.28
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment
Working Type: Full Time [35 hours/ 39 working weeks]
Base: Buile Hill Academy, Eccles Old Road, Salford, M6 8RD

Buile Hill is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Teaching Assistant to join our Maths team.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Work as part of the academy/department to support interventions with students who require additional mentoring to achieve GCSE
  • Work with other small groups and individual students across Key Stage 3 and 4 as required
  • Promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with special needs under the direction of a class teacher/Inclusion Manager
  • Deliver intervention programs to individuals and small groups.
  • Assist in the development of suitable intervention material
  • Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
