REQUIREMENTS:

• Essential Qualifications: Must possess a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and a relevant teaching or education qualification.
• Experience: Previous experience working with PMLD, SLD, and MLD is preferred, though not required.
• DBS Check: An Enhanced DBS check is required to demonstrate suitability for working with children and young people.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Commitment to Development: Looking for candidates who are eager to engage in continuous professional development.

• Actively engage in supporting students’ daily learning and developmental activities.

· Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, offering guidance and assistance with classwork assignments.

• Participate in the continuous assessment, recording, and reporting of students’ progress.
• Ensure that all students experience a high standard of physical and emotional care.
• Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the class teacher to facilitate lessons both within and outside the classroom environment.
