The RoleProvide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties.
Support pupils with accessing the curriculum and completing learning activities.
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to deliver personalised support plans.
Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
Support pupils with emotional regulation and social development.
Use appropriate strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and wider school activities.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal CandidatePrevious experience working with children or young people is desirable.
Experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, ASD, or complex needs is beneficial.
Patient, compassionate, and understanding of individual needs.
Confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and behaviours.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and encourage their development.
