Role: Temporary Teaching Assistant Academy: Outwood Academy Freeston Start Date: 02/03/2026 Salary (Actual Salary): £17801 - £18084 (Grade 3, SCP 5-6) Working Pattern: 30 Hours Per Week, Term Time only plus 5 days Are you passionate about removing learning barriers and enabling every student to reach their potential? Join us as a Teaching Assistant, working directly with teachers to implement tailored learning activities and provide essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups. This varied role spans classroom support, intervention management (including for SEND and EAL students), and helping to develop individualized student support plans. The successful applicant will provide classroom support to our amazing children, timetabled by our inclusion department. You will be empowered with the knowledge to support the learning of our well-rounded children. The post holder will work closely with all other members of the Inclusion team to promote high standards of inclusion and learning opportunities. As an experienced Teaching Assistant, you will be extremely well organised, IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. It would be advantageous to be qualified to NVQ3 or equivalent and have experience of supporting students with specific needs.
