Oasis Academy Mayfield currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a Qualified Teaching Assistant, supporting teaching staff with responsibility for the development and educational provision of learners.
We are looking for a committed and energetic person to assist and support students with learning and behaviour needs to work within our SEN team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a high performing team who share a passionate commitment to securing the best possible life chances for our young people. This role will require patience, detailed planning, constructive conversations and a constant drive for excellence over the long haul. JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
  • NVQ / VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent
  • Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
  • Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff
  • Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students
