Department/ Unit: Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology Closing Date: December 13, 2025 The Department invites applications for the Teaching Assistant post for the Sports Medicine Team. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree in athletic training, healthcare or sports-related disciplines, preferably with some teaching or sports training experience; (ii) a good command of spoken and written English; and (iii) a strong sense of responsibility. Duties include assisting in (a) preparing course materials/classes for postgraduate programmes and certificates courses; (b) coordinating with teachers on the class arrangement to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching; (c) providing athletic training services to University sports teams; (d) collaborating with internal and external parties to deliver effective on-field service; (e) promoting the advancement of sports medicine through services to the profession/industry and the community; and (f) undertaking other academic and administrative activities as assigned. Working beyond office hours or at weekends will be required. Applicants should submit a cover letter, latest resume and copies of academic credentials in the online application. The appointee will station at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
