Ø Assist the classroom teacher with the preparation of lessons, materials, and the overall organization of the environment
Ø Provide students with instruction under the supervision of the classroom teacher
Ø Attend to the pupil’s personal care needs including toileting
Ø Support students in transit to/ from home to the school by acting as an escort on the bus, when required.
Ø Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings
Ø At times it may be requested that additional cleaning duties are completed to support a healthy environment, we ask for your compliance in this regard.
Ø Accompany teaching staff and pupils on visits, trips and out of school activities as required.
Ø Communicate important information efficiently with team and classroom teacher
