Description

Department/Unit: Department of Mathematics Closing Date: Until the post is filled The Department of Mathematics invites applications for the post of full-time Teaching Assistant. Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor's degree and preferably some relevant teaching experience; (ii) an academic background in mathematics; (iii) solid knowledge of computer applications and project management; and (iv) good communication skills. Duties include (a) handling coordination work, including teaching support and programme administration; (b) assisting in tutorials, laboratory/practical classes, preparation of course materials/classes, student consultation/supervision, and other academic activities; and (c) assisting in report drafting and writing. Appointments will be made on a contract basis up to two years commencing September 2025 and renewable subject to funding, performance and mutual agreement.
