JOB SUMMARY

Our school is a vibrant and inclusive primary school committed to nurturing young minds and helping every child reach their full potential. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team of educators.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of children across a range of abilities and needs. Your role will be to provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, assist in classroom management, and help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in their learning under the direction of the class teacher
  • Help prepare classroom materials and resources
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support as needed
  • Support children with special educational needs or English as an additional language
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Encourage good behaviour and promote a safe, happy school environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for working with children and helping them succeed
  • Previous experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable but not essential)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, caring, and flexible attitude
