    Uniform Education are working on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Croydon, who are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. The school supports children and young people aged 2-19 with autism and a range of additional needs, including sensory processing difficulties, cognitive delay, and communication challenges.

You will work under the guidance of teaching staff to:

  • Support pupils with their learning and personal development
  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Encourage independence and help pupils access a range of learning activities
  • Assist with personal care when required and help create a calm, purposeful classroom environment
  • Contribute to displays and classroom resources
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
