SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience working in KS1 (desirable)
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
  • Team player: reliable, flexible, and committed
  • Highly organised with good time management
  • Experience working with children with SEND (highly desirable)
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons in Key Stage 1
  • Provide small group interventions to support learning and progress
  • Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy development
  • Ensure all children are engaged, safe, and supported effectively
  • Work with children with SEND needs, promoting inclusion at all times
  • Help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
