SALARY: £85-£120 PER DAY (DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS)

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school in the heart of Lewisham, currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting children with special educational needs in both 1:1 and small group settings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • SEN-specific training or qualifications
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience

    Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
  • Assist with group interventions, helping pupils to access learning in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to deliver personalised support.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
