We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for a full time post in a highly regarded Primary school in Huntingdon.
Would you describe yourself as someone who could brighten the day of a child no matter what the circumstances? We are currently looking for flexible and adaptable Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join an existing team. This position will be combined with lunchtime cover.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated school staff and be part of a vibrant school community which places the child at the centre of all they do.
The post is full-time, commencing September 2025.
Hours of work are Monday- Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm, Term time only with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

You will need:

  • to be creative and flexible in your approach to learning;
  • patience with and understanding of behavioural issues.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

  • have good behaviour management skills
  • have previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • hold GCSE Grade C or equivalent in Maths and English
  • hold a level 2 qualification in childcare or equivalent

Salary
£415 to £500 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • To hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to process one
  • Relevant previous experience
