OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, including autism. This role is essential in helping to communicate and educate students effectively, ensuring they receive the attention and guidance necessary for their development.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with children on the autism spectrum is beneficial.
  • Experience in primary school education is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with students and staff alike.
  • A passion for educating and supporting children in their learning journey is crucial for success in this role.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £19,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

  • Communicate effectively with students, encouraging their participation and engagement in lessons.
  • Supporting and assisting pupils with physical learning and sensory difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement educational plans.
  • Observe and report on student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team.
