We are seeking to recruit a number of experienced and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to work on both long-term, full-time roles and part time roles in a small cluster of primary schools in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. These mainstream schools are looking for both general Teaching Assistants and Teaching Assistants with experience in 1-2-1 roles with learners with additional learning needs, in particular ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and Global Delay Disorder.
These roles are set for September 2025 starts.
As a Welsh Government framework staffing provider, we will give you the opportunity to work in Primary, Secondary and SEN schools as well as numerous privately run education provisions across Wales.

• Supporting and supervising learners with ASD, Global delay Disorder and general Teaching Assistant tasks.
• Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
• Assisting staff members in preparing the classroom for a lesson
• Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
• Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
• Assist learners at break time with their lunch
• Engage learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
• Work in accordance to the school’s behaviour management policies
