Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Engaging, motivated and inspirational Chemistry Teaching Fellows are sought for three fixed term, 12 months positions to undertake Chemistry teaching, with a particular focus on practical chemistry, in the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College. You will deliver a range of teaching to undergraduate MSci and BSc students, including practical teaching activities, delivering workshops and tutorials, and contributing to lectures.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in one of the U.K.’s leading Chemistry departments at a time of significant innovation in its undergraduate programmes.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

Joining an inspiring group of Chemistry Teaching Fellows, you will:

  • Contribute to collaborative teaching as a member of a number of module teams
  • Develop new practical chemistry learning and teaching activities, resources and approaches
  • Contribute to undergraduate lectures
  • Deliver workshops, problem classes and tutorials
  • Support students with their academic, personal and professional development and with pastoral matters.
