The School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Warwick invites applications for one outstanding Teaching Fellow in Translation and Transcultural Studies.
About You
You will have experience in teaching translation technologies, audiovisual translation, and ideally expertise in game localisation.
You will play a full part in School and sub-department activities, with a remit to develop and help to deliver UG and PG degree-level quality provision in Translation and Transcultural Studies. It is expected that you will contribute actively to our UG modules, and to our MA in Translation and Cultures.
Candidates with native or near-native fluency in Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish are encouraged to apply, but preference may be given to candidates with Chinese.

About the Department
Translation and Transcultural Studies (TTS) is one the academic sections of the School of Modern Languages and Cultures (SMLC). We run a BA with TTS, an MA in Translation and Cultures (MATC) and a PhD programme. Our teaching is research-led and covers a wide range of areas including literary translation, memory, audiovisual translation, eye tracking, fansubbing, machine translation and technologies, sociolinguistics, and sociology of translation/cultural production, gender, and feminism, postcolonialism, authorship and translation, ethics, and the history of translation and publishing.
