YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

  • Appropriate degree with relevant post-graduate teaching experience. Normally a PhD, either awarded or near submission, in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of quantitative analysis methods in the social sciences; and confidence in communicating foundational mathematical principles behind common statistical techniques to beginners
  • Evidence of recent, sustained and developing attainments in teaching, appropriate to career stage, also indicative of commitment to, and potential for, excellence in teaching.
  • Evidence of an ability to design and deliver course materials and to assess student performance, including the provision of detailed feedback.An ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, including an ability to demonstrate sharing administrative responsibilities.
