Section Administrator, Project Management & Programme Advisory This is a unique opportunity to join our Beca Project Management & Programme Advisory team in Tāmaki Makaurau. We are the largest project management services organisation in New Zealand. Our Auckland-based team of 100 consultants work with public and private sector clients to deliver projects across airports, defence, education, water and building sectors. You will join a professional services team known for leading the successful establishment and delivery of some of the largest and most complex projects and programmes in New Zealand. Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity In this role you will be supporting our Northern Project Management & Programme Advisory business and enabling our people to spend their time doing what they do best. We are looking for someone who will become a ‘go to person’ on our floor and to support our two managers and our wider team. This is an exciting and varied role, where you have the opportunity to learn and grow to become an integral member of the team and business. Key functions of the role include: Coordinating meetings, calendars, and events. Welcoming and onboarding new team members. Supporting team members with various activities including obtaining software licences and equipment from our corporate teams. Supporting the development of proposals and bids by formatting, editing and potentially drafting content to a professional standard. Business administration including preparation of monthly reports, updating organisational charts and supporting our business managers in commercial operations. You will have your finger on the pulse of team activities, collaborating internally and externally to make things happen! Ko wai koe | About you You will be a well organised, action oriented and enjoy interacting with a fun and diverse team. You will be proactive, identifying what is needed ahead of time for the team, while adapting to changing priorities. You will combine energy with calm efficiency, adept at anticipating needs and multi-tasking with flair! You are not afraid to positively influence others when deadlines are imminent. You will be comfortable preparing and formatting reports in MS Word and slide decks in PowerPoint to a professional standard.
