Position: Team and Relationship Manager
Location: Hybrid/Remote
Reports to: Program Director
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt About the Role
As a Team and Relationship Manager, you will play a vital role in cultivating and managing relationships with program teams and local community partners and is responsible for contributing to programmatic design, implementation, evaluation, program impact improvement, and budget monitoring. This individual will lead an innovative team that can both execute day-to-day as well as evolve existing programming to meet unique needs identified in the communities Candelen serves or aspires to serve. The successful candidate is goal oriented, has strong interpersonal, critical and analytical skills, thrives in a fast paced, matrixed organization, and has a strong focus on broadening and deepening social impact. Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Family Services or related field.
  • Four or more years of experience in a supervisory position.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.
  • Experience in a culturally and linguistically diverse work and/or community environment.
  • Proficient with computer programs and ability to navigate technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office, email systems, SLACK and related programs.
  • Ability to travel throughout the state of Arizona, have a current/valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, and always have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to meet background check requirements upon initial hire and for the duration of employment.
  • Have and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Ability to lift 15-30 pounds.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of family support programs and techniques to engage family, friend, and neighbor (FFN) caregivers.
  • Knowledge of data collection and process improvement methods.
  • Knowledge of program evaluation.

SKILLS

  • Skills to inspire and lead a team of individuals to live the core values of Candelen while meeting key performance indicators, including adherence to evidence informed models/curriculums.
  • Skills to engage and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Skills to manage a program to budget and to metrics.

ABILITIES

  • Ability to analyze, think critically and implement process improvement to increase programmatic/operational efficiencies and ensure that program participants’ and community needs are being met.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand the needs of the communities Candelen serves, how those needs align to the organization’s mission, and lead/participate in program development to meet unmet needs.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain high quality relationships with new and existing community partners, strengthen collaborative efforts to drive successful program implementation and growth.
  • Ensure fidelity to evidence informed model(s).
  • Identify programmatic needs, gaps, and challenges.
  • Develop rigorous and critical social impact, program measurement criteria and data collection processes to ensure viability of new programs and services.
  • Hire, coach, mentor high quality team members that can deliver high quality and consistent services.
  • Develop accurate and timely measurement data for team performance.
  • Engage in the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Represent Candelen by participating in events and meetings within the community.
  • Other duties as assigned related to the position.
