TEAM ASSISTANT IN INVESTMENT BANKING DIVISION
Salary: £25ph
Location: Canary Wharf (3-4 days in the office)
Contract: 12 months rolling
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Team Assistant to provide comprehensive support to their Investment Banking Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a leading global financial services firm, offering a competitive salary of £25 per hour. Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Team Assistant in the Investment Banking Division, your role will be pivotal in providing efficient service to a team of Junior Bankers. Your excellent organisational skills will be utilised in managing diaries proactively, ensuring there are no clashes and acting as ‘gatekeeper’ for diary invitations. You will also be responsible for coordinating all travel arrangements and processing monthly expenses promptly. Your interpersonal skills will come into play as you maintain client contact details and assist in setting up meetings. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining the in-house CRM system and managing various events. Providing phone cover for bankers outside your designated team will also fall under your remit.
- Provide professional assistance to a team of Junior Bankers in the Investment Banking Division
- Maintain client contact details and assist in setting up internal/external meetings & conference calls
- Proactively manage calendars and meetings, ensuring no clashes and finding resolutions when necessary
- Coordinate all travel arrangements including flights, hotels, visas and ground transportation
- Process monthly expenses in a timely manner using Firm systems such as Concur
- Maintain in-house Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Manage events such as closing events, social/team events etc.
- Provide phone cover and support to Bankers outside of designated team when other members are out of the office

As the Team Assistant in the Investment Banking Division, you bring along excellent time management skills coupled with flexibility. Your ability to work effectively within a team and your articulate communication skills will be key in this role. You are proactive, able to use your initiative and judgement to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Your organisational skills and attention to detail are second to none, and you maintain a professional manner at all times, ensuring confidentiality is upheld. You have good knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook, and have experience with online expense processing tools like Concur. Experience with CRM systems and online travel booking tools will also be beneficial.
